Beauty products change as often as fashion. It is hard to keep up with the latest trends and as soon as you find a good product manufacturers are discontinuing them. We started this blog to help our on-line friends sort through the options and find what beauty products are best for them.
Don't let this happen to you. Yes, it is a little over dramatic but it's true. Very rarely does a box color go right. It's important to treat you hair with respect and these box colors give no respect. As a cosmetologist we've had endless training on the ART of hair color. We've taken tests, had schooling, and earned a lot of experience in doing what we do. WE dye four to five heads a day; not one every two months. There is always the issue of money. "oh this box is only $4". That box can dry out and damage you hair so YOU look like $4. Hairdressers care about people or we wouldn't work with people all day. We want the inside you to match the outside you. We want everyone to look like a million bucks.
Another way to think about the money issue is where are you sending your money? You can send the $4 to Arkansas for WalMart who sends some to China to make the dye. So what? Lets help China's economy when already ours needs its own help?! Or spend a little more for a better color and support that woman with a child that goes to school with yours. Or that man who shops at your store everyday to keep you in business. Just a thought...
